On board the Hurtigruten ships, the panorama changes constantly. You will never see the same landscape twice. The midnight sun or the Northern lights. Along the Norwegian coast, everything is about light or darkness. Since 1893, Hurtigruten sails along the wild coast of Norway. Each day, one of the twelve ships of the fleet weighs anchor for a 12 days’ journey from Bergen to Kirkenes and back to Bergen, calling at a total of 34 ports. You can choose to go on a cruise for twelve, seven or six days.
Hurtigruten also allows you to discover the Svalbard archipelago and the extraordinary landscapes of the Arctic, its glaciers and cliffs of birds. It is here, above the Arctic Circle, that you can enjoy the midnight sun with long days and clear nights. If you are lucky, you may even spot the Arctic King, the polar bear.
