Our private tour to the four Nordic capitals includes a sightseeing with your own private guide in each city. The tour begins in the Finnish capital Helsinki, well known for its design, nature, sauna and the warm smile of the capital’s 600,000 inhabitants. You will then embark on an overnight cruise across the Baltic Sea to Stockholm, the biggest of the Nordic capitals, with its beautiful architecture, natural green spaces, huge archipelago and countless museums! It is then time to discover the Kingdom of Denmark and its dynamic and vibrant capital Copenhagen before weighing anchor for an overnight cruise to the Norwegian capital Oslo, your last stop of this tour.

DAY 1

Arrival to Helsinki Vantaa Airport

DAY 2

City Walk with your own Private Guide (10:00-13:00)

Tervetuloa Helsinkiin! Welcome to Helsinki! We will start with a short stroll along the Esplanadi Boulevard, just next to your hotel. During the walk we will pass by many interesting places: the Senate Square, the Cathedral of Helsinki, the Uspenski Russian Cathedral, the Central Railway Station and The Market Square. Should you have a special interest, please let us know so that we can adapt the tour.

DAY 3

You can add a day trip by steamboat to Porvoo. It is also possible to visit Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, by ferry. Each voyage lasts two hours and in Tallinn it is possible to include a panoramic tour with your own private guide and driver.

DAY 4

Transfer from the hotel to the ferry terminal

DAY 5

Arrival in Stockholm at 10:00 AM

City Walk with your own Private Guide (12:00-16:00)

Just opposite your hotel, you will find the park Humlegården. We will pass by Stureplan and Nybroplan before following Strandvägen, one of Stockholm’s most prestigious avenues. Arriving on the island of Djurgården, we will visit the Vasa Museum, which hosts the only preserved seventeenth-century ship in the world. We will take the ferry that connects the island of Djurgården with the Old Town, one of the largest and best preserved medieval urban centers in Europe and one of Stockholm’s most important attractions. This is where Stockholm was founded in 1252. The tour will end with a visit to the Storkyrkan Cathedral, where royal coronations once took place. The cathedral is still home to weddings: the King of Sweden got married here in 1976 as well as his daughter, Crown Princess Victoria, in 2010.

DAY 9

City Walk with your own Private Guide (09:30-12:00)

Most sights in Copenhagen are on a walking distance from your hotel and we will see many of them on our walk. Very close to the hotel is the Rundetårn, built in the middle of the 17th century as an astronomic observatory. We will pass the the residence of the royal family Amalienborg Palace and get a glimpse at the famous Gefion fountain, designed by the Danish artist Anders Bundgaard. And naturally, we will not miss out on the icon of Copenhagen, the Little Mermaid, a small statue based on the fairy tale by the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen.

DAY 10

Two nights in a category **** hotel in the centre of Oslo, incl. breakfast

City Walk with your own Private Guide (12:00-15:00)

During our walk, we will visit the Palace Park, where we will learn more about the Royal Palace, built in the first half of the 19th century and today the official residence of the Norwegian King Harald and Queen Sonja. We will visit the City Hall, inaugurated in 1950, where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony takes place every December. We will also visit the exterior and the foyer of the Oslo Opera House, which was completed in 2007 and won the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture in 2009.

DAY 14
